Always remember that this is your time, your moment and you can not do it over. We realize that this is the most important day of your life, so take the time to book a qualified professional. This will allow you to sit back, relax and be a guest at your own event.
The cost of entertainment is only a fraction of your overall wedding budget, a mere 5%. This being a fact, the average bride when interviewed after her wedding usually says, “I wish I would have spent more time and money on my entertainment“. Keep in mind that your guests won’t remember the cake or flowers, but they will remember if they had a good time at your event. Your cake and flowers do not have a personality, nor will they entertain or implement your itinerary on the biggest day of your life. On the other hand, your DJ will. We have put together these frequently asked questions as we know most people have never hired a DJ.
Q. What type of equipment do you use?
A. We currently use professional audio equipment from JBL, QSC, B-52 and Shure.
Q. Do we get to meet our DJ?
A. Yes, you can meet him prior to booking and you will meet him two to three weeks before your big day
Q. Where would we meet our DJ?
A. These tough economic times forced us to shut down our office, allowing us to lower our rates to benefit our clients. We will usually meet at your home or somewhere that is convenient to you.
Q. In what attire do you dress?
A. We dress professional. Suit or tuxedo for weddings, unless otherwise specified.
Q. Can we have input on our music selection?
A. Yes, you can pick and choose off of our list, create your own list or even bring your personal requests on your ipod or cd’s.
Q. What other services can you provide?
A. We have a variety of light shows from dance floor to up lights. We can also provide the equipment for playback of a video montage.
Q. Do we have to tip the DJ?
A. Although tips are greatly appreciated, we don’t require one. If you feel your DJ did a great job, than by all means show him your appreciation by giving him a tip.
