Classic Cuts was started in 1987 by Louie Ochoa a Saddleback High School graduate with a love and passion for music and the art of DJing. After years of working for other companies and doing all types of events such as corporate, weddings, private party and school dances, Louie decide to make DJing a full time business. Things went extremely well and Classic Cuts has been around for 20 years now providing entertainment for over ten thousand plus satisfied clients. We have companies such as Van’s, Oakley, Spy, Airwalk, Quicksilver, just to name a few who we perform with regularly. We have done movie premieres and sporting events too and we are heavily involved in extreme sports such as motocross and wakeboarding..
Classic Cuts promises to contribute to the success of each and every event you hire them for and will include everything promised and ordered. All of the DJ’s are highly trained professionals with a background in nightclubs allowing a smooth flow and transition of music to keep the crowd alive and rocking all night. All Packages include the following:
Set up and Tear down of all equipment
Digital Turntable Sound System-which includes 4 speakers, two amps and a wireless microphone
Music Library consisting of all types of music all with edited radio friendly versions
Disc Jockey with at least 7 years of experience and will perform DJ/MC duties for four hours
The silver package consists of 4 effect lights called “Double Derbys”, which are hoisted on tripods. The cost for this package is $600 or $675 with fog.
The gold package consists of 4 Martin Computerized Lights which are pre-programmed with 60 different lighting effects that go to the beat of the music and are hoisted on tripods. This package is $800 or $875 with fog.
The platinum package consist of the gold package as well as a video screen, vcr’s, digital camera and video camera. This package requires an additional operator who will video live footage of the dance and festivities as well as take digital pictures and play the pictures back at the end of the dance in a video slide show. The VCR’s are used to play extreme, music and blooper videos. The cost for this package is $1,400 and $1,475 with fog.

A Final Note
Let us know if you are hosting a themed dance, because we may be able to assist you with party products to go with the theme. We also offer discounts when you book several dances in advance, or when you refer another school and they book a dance.
