Classic Cuts has been serving the entertainment industry since 1987. We have entertained at weddings, anniversaries, private parties, corporate functions, school dances, grad nights, proms, homecomings, winter formals, class reunions and nightclubs throughout Orange, Los Angeles and Riverside counties. We feature a wide variety of music to suit any occasion, and we will also act as your personal coordinator to prepare you for your special event, including setting up your itinerary so your event goes exactly as planned.
Our Disc Jockeys are highly trained full-time professionals. Your DJ will be an employee, not a sub-contractor. He will arrive on time for your event, be neatly dressed in the appropriate attire and will play continuous music throughout your event on his State-of-the-Art digital turntable sound system.
Classic Cuts is more than a DJ company. Our DJ’s will end up playing your music, make all of your announcements and assist in the coordination of your event. Our staff of highly trained professionals will assist you in your music selection as well as creating an itinerary that will help create a nice flow to your event while keeping your guests entertained.

We feel very strongly when we say, “Weddings are a once in a lifetime event” You need a professional to guide your reception and our DJ’s are the directors of the most important day of your life. Louie Ochoa is the owner and operator of Classic Cuts Mobile DJ Service. He has been the owner and operator of Classic Cuts for the last 20 years. Louie and his daughter currently live in the golfing community of Eagle Glen in Corona, California. In their spare time during the summer they enjoy getting away to their vacation home in Lake Havasu Arizona. Lake Havasu is where they do most of their vacationing and boating . In the fall and winter months Louie and Sienna enjoy camping, dirt bike riding and off roading in their Rhino with his friends in the Dunes of Glamis and other various California riding spots. Louie’s hobbies include coaching his daughter Sienna in softball, riding motocross, wakeboarding, working out and playing softball. Most of all he just loves spending his free time with his daughter, family and friends.
Louie was born in Chicago, but was raised in Orange County California from the age of 6. He attended Saddleback High School in Santa Ana where he lettered in football, baseball and wrestling. He continued his education at Golden West College in Huntington Beach where he received his AA Degree in Criminal Justice. Louie’s first interest in the art of DJing came as he began in1987 while making tapes for his friends and his passion for the rap and hip hop culture movement. Louie being an avid fan of rebuilding Volkswagen bugs had joined a VW car club that owned their own DJ equipment where members of the club would go out and DJ parties and car shows in the years to come increasing his passion about the art of being a DJ and mixing music not to mention entertaining for large crowds. He eventually bought the equipment from the car club and began working for a mobile DJ company doing all types of events, gaining him experience and exposure within the DJ industry. Louie eventually got a job at World famous Kokomos Nightclub in Irvine and that is where his DJ career really took off. Louie was involved with live radio mix shows with radio stations KEZY, POWER 106 and World Famous KROQ. He was also the opening act DJ for Lighter Shade of Brown, Zapp and Roger, Rodney O and Joe Cooley and many other rap artists. After about 8 years of working at other various clubs throughout Orange County like Tijuana Jones, The Red Onions, Peppers, Bananas, and Dublin's Louie chose to continue running his DJ company and further his DJ career by working full time as a DJ rather than pursue a career in Law Enforcement.
Since 1995 now,18 years later Louie has been a full time DJ. He currently has a staff of 4 professional DJ’s and MC’s who have performed at over 20,000 events such as weddings, school dances, corporate and private functions, bar and bat mitzvahs, quinceneras, movie premieres, concerts and nightclubs as well as other various events. He was the “Taco Tuesday DJ” at Tortilla Flats in Orange County for 16 years, something no other DJ has yet to surpass. He currently works with some of the top companies in the Off-Road and Motocross industries such as Transworld Motorcross, Lucas Oil, Oakley, Troy Lee Designs and One Industries to name a few. Louie and his staff are dedicated to the wedding and entertainment industries, constantly coming up with new methods and new ideas on how to raise the bar in a very competitive industry. Louie is a firm believer in offering exceptional customer service and professionalism, but more importantly meeting each individuals needs as they pertain to their special event. In other words, personalizing it so that no two events are ever alike. He is also into educating a potential client, so that they know what to look for while shopping around for a DJ, whether they hire Classic Cuts or not. Although he feels that DJ’s and entertainers such as him do not get the respect or compensation for the job they do, like being the orchestrater of the most important day in a person’s life, he feels the profession itself has progressed immensely and in ways he could never have imagined. The thought of being paid to watch people have fun, dance and party and knowing at the end we were part of their special event or special day is a reward in itself and it is the best description Louie likes to give of his job.

Music has always been a big part of my life. From a very young age I was introduced to both traditional and popular genres of music. I was introduced to beat mixing with turntables at a family house party when I was 10 years old and have been a fan ever since. I continued to study the world of music through music production, music arrangement, recording and remixing. 5 years ago I was encouraged to take my public speaking abilities and knowledge of music into the world of mobile Dj-ing. It was a perfect fit and I was immediaely addicted. I truly enjoy interacting with crowds and love the feeling of creating the right kind of atmosphere with the right track. Having access to a song library of over 20,000 songs allows me the freedom to mix in and out of different genres of music. I pride myself in my ability to read a crowd and being able to get them on the dance floor. And as for my favorite style of music........well, my favorite tracks to spin are the ones that will get the party jumpin'.
